It was love at first sight when we entered the grounds of La Forêt Souriante and first set eyes on the little house that has become the gîte Albizia. The charming holiday cottage provides everything you would expect from a romantic, typically French gîte. This detached holiday home for two has a living area downstairs with a luxury open plan kitchen surrounded by stone walls complete with built-in niches and beautiful old beams. Everything you need to prepare a tasty meal can be found in the well-equipped kitchen. The large authentic French doors in the living room open onto a private terrace with comfortable hanging chairs and a sunny spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner. In the house, upstairs, under the slate roof is the attractive spacious bedroom with a heigh wooden ceiling. The original beams add to the romantic atmosphere (N.B. people taller than 1.80m will have to bow for the middle beam of the room!). The bathroom has a sensual rain shower and a modern toilet. The comfortable kingsize bed, the luxurious 100% cotton bed linen and the soft towels make the bedroom a perfect place to unwind.
